Oriafo processes palm kernels into oil and cake at our solar-powered mill in Abia State. We supply manufacturers and feed producers, and we’re building the processing, technology and data infrastructure that Nigeria’s palm kernel sector has been missing.
Nigeria grows the palm. It doesn’t yet process it well.
Palm kernels are one of the most valuable parts of the oil palm, and southeastern Nigeria produces them in large quantities. Most are still processed in small, informal mills, where output quality varies from batch to batch, records are rare and much of the value is lost before it reaches a buyer.
For manufacturers, that means inconsistent supply and uncertain quality. For farmers, it means less of the value they grow. Oriafo is built to close that gap: a formal, well-run processing operation, close to where the kernels are grown, that buyers can rely on.
A working mill in the heart of palm country.
Our mill in Bende LGA, Abia State, opened in October 2026. It runs two processing lines and serves farmers and aggregators across the state, processing their kernels for a fee and producing palm kernel products for our own customers.
We run it as a formal business: kernels are weighed and recorded on arrival, every batch is logged, and every sale comes with a proper invoice from a registered company.

Palm kernel oil
Crude palm kernel oil for soap, cosmetics and food manufacturing. Supplied in 25-litre kegs, or 200-litre drums for bulk orders.
Palm kernel cake
The protein-rich residue from pressing, used in livestock, poultry and fish feed. Available in 50 kg bags, or in bulk by the tonne.
Palm kernel shells
Hard shells separated during processing, used as industrial fuel and as feedstock for biochar.
Samples are available on request for qualified buyers.

Every part of the kernel has a use: oil for manufacturing, cake for feed and shells for fuel. We aim to sell or reuse all of it rather than discard it. Our site runs on solar power, and we’re exploring turning palm kernel shells into biochar, a material that stores carbon in soil and improves its fertility.

Common questions.
- Can you supply on a recurring basis?
- Yes. We agree volumes and schedules with each customer, whether that’s a single order or a monthly supply contract.
- What’s your minimum order?
- One 200-litre drum of oil, or 1 tonne (20 bags) of cake. We welcome larger and recurring orders.
- Can I get a sample before ordering?
- Yes. We provide samples to qualified buyers so you can check quality before committing.
- Do you deliver?
- Buyers can collect from the mill, or we can arrange delivery within Abia State and neighbouring states, including Imo, Enugu, Ebonyi and Rivers, at cost.
- How do payments work?
- Payment is by bank transfer to our company account. For large orders we take a deposit to confirm, with the balance due before dispatch. Every order comes with an invoice and receipt.
- Can I visit the mill?
- Yes. Business visits are welcome by appointment, Monday to Saturday.
- Do you process kernels for farmers?
- Yes. Farmers and aggregators can bring kernels to our Bende mill for processing. Contact us to book.
